“Please consider supporting inclusive education, and The RISE School of Austin, by purchasing an “inclusion” sweatshirt designed by The Milwee family. The Milwee family received their oldest sons’ diagnosis shortly before moving to Tuscaloosa, AL to join the coaching staff of The University of Alabama football team. While at The University of Alabama, they were introduced to the RISE model of inclusion at The RISE School of Tuscaloosa, which operated in connection with the university. There are seven RISE programs in the US, and the mission of the RISE program is to provide high quality early childhood education to children of all abilities in an inclusive setting. RISE’s inclusive model supported both of the Milwee children’s development. The Milwee family recently moved to Austin, TX to join The University of Texas Football coaching team and were incredibly grateful to find a RISE school in Austin to continue to support their children’s education. The Milwee family’s goal is to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion based education programs that benefit students of all abilities.
Proceeds from your purchase will benefit The Rise School of Austin and further their mission to provide inclusive education.”
